Coming Fall 2012 – Spring 2013:
This post will focus on the fun and varied work of a newspaper person and will include tips on reporting and writing, photography and other elements of the business. Students will write stories that will be attached to the World-Herald’s online site, Omaha.com. You’ll have to write articles and interview people, but there will be no tests or grades. This six-session post will be fast-paced, fun and blow by very quickly.

New Media is giving many organizations and small business the opportunity to share their story or market their product for the first time because it is less expensive than Traditional Media.
V180 Media has been working with New Media for the past few years has learned what it takes to be successful with this new form of communication. This course provides an introduction to the world of New Media, with a focus on four major platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and WordPress. At the end of the 5 week session, the students will have created a mini-marketing campaign focusing on a passion or interest of their choice.
